Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the cemetery... those brain eating zombies are back and hungry for more tasty mortals. A fiendish mix of outrageous humor and heart stopping terror, The Return of the Living Dead is "a veritable smorgasbord of fun" (L.A. Herald Examiner) filled with skin crawling jolts, eye popping visuals and relentless surprises!
On his first day on the job at an army surplus store, poor Freddy unwittingly releases nerve gas from a secret U.S. military canister, unleashing an unbelievable terror. The gas re-animates an army of corpses, who arise from their graves with a ravenous hunger... for human brains! And luckily for those carnivorous cadavers, there is a group of partying teens nearby, just waiting to be eaten!

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD one too many times.
And why not? The movie is the best satire on NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD ever
made. Scary, sexy and funny, this rocking movie has more quotable scenes and
dialogue than any other ten zombie films put together, and ironically this
movie helped bring zombies back to the top o

One of the best zombie films ever made! - 4.25 out of 5 (9/24/2004)
Return of the Living Dead has got to be the best zombie movie that wasn't directed by George Romero. In a subgenre that has spawned dozens of imitators, Dan O'Bannon's ROTLD is truly a classic.

Check it out - 4.75 out of 5 (4/6/2004)
This may be (and probably is) the greatest sleeper horror of all time. A very unique combination of not only horror, but comedy, parody, one-liners and throw in some skin shots. I'm not real sure what the budget was, but they managed quite well around it. The characters are just that - they actually build the characters into people you root for and relate to. The combination of the young and old alike work well. If you're not offended by bad language and nudity, you should get a kick and a half

a great zombie movie. this movie made me scared, laugh, and feeling satisfied after watching this wonderful movie by director dan " the man" o' bannon. dan did a wonderful job on this movie. a whole lot better than "28 days later". note: dan o'bannon did not direct "28 days later"...but, they could have used his help anyway.
